Job Role and Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a one to one support worker for Jack, a new customer living in Baillieston Glasgow. This is an exciting time to join Jack's team, shape his care and support him to achieve his goals. Jack likes socialising, spending time with family and making friends, as well as enjoying time to himself.

This role will involve promoting wellbeing through therapeutic and sensory experiences. In supporting Jack you will carry out mealtime assistance, administration of medication and personal care. You will also support Jack with his wheelchair and physical activities.

What we're looking for

You will be involved in working with us to make Jack's life fulfilling and support him with daily living. What is important is your ability to build and maintain a positive relationship, taking Jack's needs and preferences into account. We provide extensive training and support to our staff, so whilst experience is helpful, it's not necessary. However good values are essential. You should possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to use your own initiative. We are looking for people to start as soon as possible so please apply early, interviews will be carried out as and when suitable application are received.

Please note there is the opportunity to support Jack on both day and night shift patterns.

Due to occupational requirements of this role, Male applicants will not be considered for night shift patterns.
